***ALL YSF ACTIVITIES ARE ON HOLD UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE*****
The Youth Sports & Fitness (YSF) program plans, organizes, and conducts recreational sports leagues, skills clinics, camps, fitness/health classes, special sporting events, and outdoor recreation activities for children and youth through the age of 18. The YSF program ensures that the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional needs of youth and teens are addressed and provided for through a variety of engaging and appropriate programs. All volunteers are vetted through a background screening process. We place a special emphasis on "FUN"! Our programs are affiliated with the National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS), 4-H, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA).

Parents
NAYS Parent Orientation & Membership Program, formerly the Parents Association for Youth Sports or PAYS, is an education and membership program that supports youth sports parents while helping youth sports organizations eradicate parent issues. NAYS Parent Orientation has set a standard for parent orientation programs by providing video-based training that offers a simple, effective way to make youth sports parents aware of their roles and responsibilities, as well as ways they can make their child’s experience more enjoyable and positive. The training and membership fees are free to Military and DoD families. Please register your family today @ https://www.nays.org/parents/
Coaches
Volunteers are essential in ensuring Navy YSF Program success. The YSF Program could not exist without the support of volunteers who perform the role of coaches, officials, team parents, and scorekeepers. Volunteers provide the manpower needed to conduct a vast array of programs and the energy and motivation required to achieve a successful program. All volunteers are properly vetted through Navy CSO in order to render services to CYP. Please contact the YSF Coordinator, Waylend Reed, to begin your CYP volunteer experience today! Check out NAYS coaching resources @ https://www.nays.org/coaches/
