MISSION To provide the forward deployed naval forces, regional, and tenant commands within the Western Pacific and Indian Oceans expert and timely military justice, legal assistance, and command services advice and support.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY RLSO Western Pacific provides services to commands, servicemembers, and their families located in Commander, Naval Forces Japan and Commander, U.S. Naval Forces, Marianas Islands areas of responsibility; or transiting through the Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility to include Japan, Guam, Diego Garcia, Singapore, Korea, Hong Kong and other activities located in Southeast Asia.

LEGAL SERVICES PROVIDED Command Services Command Services provides advice in the following subject areas: Administrative Law, Admiralty, Administrative Separations and Processing, Disciplinary Options, Freedom of Expression and Grievances, Homeland Security, Interactions with Civilian Law Enforcement Agencies, Subpoenas, JAGMAN Investigations, Military Justice, Operational Law, Personnel Matters, Standards of Conduct and Government Ethics.

Legal Assistance Legal assistance can include advice on topics such as consumer/financial affairs, disaster relief support and advice, family law, foreclosure advice and counseling, immigration, notary services, powers of attorney, landlord/tenant matters, Servicemembers' Civil Relief Act, small claims court matters, victim assistance, and wills/estate planning.
