School Age Care- Joint Base Langley-Eustis
The JBLE Eustis School Age Care offers before and after school care, hourly care, and full-day camps for children ages 5 to 12. Children enrolled will get the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of clubs, activities, and special events in many different activity rooms. Activities are organized within five core service areas: Character & Leadership, The Arts, Health & Life Skills, Sports, Fitness & Recreation, and Education & Career Development. Through our partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and 4H, we are able to provide countless opportunities for children to engage in educational curriculum, programming, and clubs. The SAC is nationally accredited through The Council on Accreditation (COA) and Certified by the Department of Defense.
Child care eligibility is contingent on the status of the sponsor. Eligible patrons include active-duty military, DoD civilian employees either NAF or APF, Air National Guard or Air Force Reserve military personnel on active duty or inactive duty training status, active duty Coast Guard members, combat-related wounded warriors, surviving spouses of military members who died from a combat-related incident, those acting in loco parentis for the dependent child of an otherwise eligible patron, eligible employees of DoD contractors, and others may be authorized on a space-available basis.
Before & After Care
This Program provides age-appropriate activities for children of working parents requiring care during the duty day. Children can receive assistance with their homework, use the Technology Lab, eat snacks, and participate in other exciting and educational opportunities provided in the five core areas.
Hourly child care is offered to support the short-term care needs of families. Reservations can be made one month in advance. Hourly patrons can enjoy the same activities and programming provided in Before/Aftercare.
Full-day camps are provided during summer, winter, and spring vacations. Summer camp programming includes field trips, special events, and activities. Parents are able to sign up for the weeks of care they need.
The SAC utilizes an online enrollment system. To enroll, parents must visit www.militarychildcare.com and create an account. Once you have your account, you will be able to search for the programs that you want and register for the care that is needed.
