Navy Exchange

Shop well and save at the Navy Exchange (NEX). The NEX was established to provide customers with quality goods and services at savings and to support Navy quality of life programs. Navy Exchanges can be found on Navy installations worldwide, delivering low prices every day on merchandise and services. On average, customers save more than 20 percent, plus no sales tax. The NEX is only open to active duty, reservists and retirees.

The Navy Exchange at Kings Bay offers a Mini-Mart for quick-stop shopping benefits plus a self-service gas station. Diesel fuel is offered on Pump 3 & 4. Inside the store, you will find quick-grab items such as single-serving cereals, milk, eggs, snacks, beverages, and even some car needs such as car fluids and air fresheners.

The Navy Exchange's Fresh Food program supports the "Better You" initiative. Look for salads, sandwiches, wraps, fruits, vegetables, and other fresh, healthy foods inside the Mini-Mart. The Fresh Food Program provides our customers with innovative, fresh, convenient, and healthy food products that are ready-to-go without compromising quality.

Navy Exchange Civilian Food Policy

Effective 01 SEPT 14, civilian U.S. government employees, and employees of recognized welfare organizations supporting the military service, are able to purchase "food and beverages sold at any exchange food activity if consumed on base."  Traditionally, access has been limited to purchases from NEX food courts, restaurants, and other locations where food sales were the primary focus.  Recent guidance, however, supports a more expanded definition, to include any NEX facility that sells food items that are associated with on-base consumption as a meal or snack item to include non-alcoholic beverages. The food and beverages authorized for sale include non-alcoholic carbonated/noncarbonated beverages and all food items that will be consumed on the installation (such as snacks, single-serve items, microwavable items, etc.).
