In order to reserve a tee time online, you must first contact the Pro Shop at +1 (703)806-5878 ext. 108/109 to obtain a pin number. You will then use this assigned pin number every time you make an online tee time.

Installation visitors may encounter delays at the Visitor Center. Please plan accordingly.

October 2020 Calendar (PDF)

• Fall maintenance/aeration begins Aug 24 and runs through Sept 6.
• 18 holes open during aeration, not counting the front of Woodlawn.

The monthly calendar highlights course maintenance and cart mandatory schedules.

Cart mandatory courses will be implemented on the weekends and holidays from April through the end of October.

Reopening: What you need to know

For the safety of our customers and our staff:

• Do not visit the golf course if you are experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough or difficulty breathing.
• Follow the CDC's guidance on personal hygiene.
• Wash your hands before and after your visit. Avoid touching your face.
• Staff will continue to sanitize high-touch area surfaces in our clubhouse and on our golf carts for your protection.
• The Pro Shop will have a maximum capacity of just 4 people at a time. Please plan accordingly.
• Tee times can be made:
• 8 days in advance for Active Duty.
• 6 days in advance for Members.
• 4 days in advance for everyone else.
• Limited occupancy in our indoor and outdoor areas.
• Masks/face coverings are required.
• Plexiglass barriers have been installed at cashier stations.
• Guests are encouraged to provide their own masks/face coverings, gloves, wipes.
• Maintain a distance of 6 feet from other guests at all times.
• Niblick’s Grill is open at 50% capacity.
• Power carts usage and protocol amended/limited.
• Rental clubs are not available.
• Scorecards and pencils are available by request.
• Follow on-course rules for putting/ball removal.
• Do not touch or remove flagsticks.
• Water coolers are unavailable on the course.
• Bunker rakes have been removed.
• Trash cans are unavailable on the course.
• Remove trash from your cart after the round.
• Currently, courses and ranges are not open for group activities such as leagues, instruction, and special events.
• Hours of operation may be limited upon reopening.
• Please adhere to all course-specific rules.

Description

Fort Belvoir Golf Club, conveniently located just south of Washington DC, offers a truly exceptional golfing experience. The original North 18 was designed in part by Robert Trent Jones. Thomas Ault Clark and Associates completed the expansion to our current 36 holes at the north complex. Today, the Fort Belvoir Golf Club is among the finest military golf facilities in the world. Our PGA professional staff takes great pride in providing outstanding service.

• Two championship 18-hole golf courses, the Woodlawn and the Gunston courses are open to all authorized patrons.* Tee times are available by telephone.
• A spacious Clubhouse featuring Niblick's Clubhouse Grill and the Clubhouse Lounge that offer not only a great view, but a variety of food and drink specials.

Please be aware that the Golf Club may close earlier than the posted hours because of weather, or other conditions beyond our control.

The North 36 Golf Club prides itself on being fully accessible to individuals with disabilities and carts for transportation around the grounds are available. Staff is available to assist patrons upon request.

Associations

Gate Access Information

Patrons will be granted access to Fort Belvoir for the duration of the membership purchased. New members will be sponsored through the Fort Belvoir Golf Club and will need to provide a valid state driver's license, current vehicle registration, and proof of insurance.

To receive your gate access pass, members must visit Tulley Gate or acquire a visitor's pass online. For more information, you may call the Visitor Center at +1 (703)806-4892.

Golf Pro Shop

The Golf Club offers a great golfing experience for daily play as well as large and small golf outings! Morning rates are in effect from 7 a.m.-12 p.m. Mid-day rates are in effect from 12–4 p.m. Twilight rates are in effect every day beginning at 4 p.m., from April–October. The Fort Belvoir Golf Club offers golf instruction to include: teaching, coaching, and club fitting. Call or visit the Golf Club for more information. Get Golf Ready!

The Fort Belvoir Golf Club offers group golf clinics for beginners that will cover everything needed to get started. Learn to play golf in a fun, casual environment.

The cost of the clinic is $100 for 5 sessions. Golf clubs, balls, and other equipment are included in the cost.

Sessions are held once a week for 5 weeks and cover:

• Putting
• Chipping
• Pitching
• Full Swing
• Etiquette.

Each Tuesday and Thursday session is from 6 - 7 p.m.

Each Wednesday session is from 5 - 6 p.m.
