Eglin AFB - Digital Library
Eglin's Digital Library is located inside Bldg. 825, right next door to Legends Sports Grill, and offers a place for not just airmen, but all military and civilian personnel to relax, hang out, read, study, and play. The center is open to all members of Team Eglin and their families. (Children under 16 must be supervised by a parent or guardian.)
As a pioneer of the Air Force's "Integrated Learning Center" (ILC) concept, the Eglin Digital Library is here for all your digital resource, educational, and learning needs. The Library is staffed with qualified, experienced librarians who are available for one on one research assistance during operating hours and after hours by appointment.
The Eglin Digital Library is your gateway to online databases and digital library resources ranging in a wide variety of subjects and interests, from journals for college research and language learning to downloadable e-books and audiobooks. The Library staff can provide passwords or help patrons set up personal accounts for numerous digital resource sites. Stop in any time for assistance.
The Library's physical collection includes over 350 copies of CLEP and Dantes study books and DVDs, plus language learning books and audiobooks, and current CSAF Reading Lists. All materials are available for a two-week checkout period. The Library also offers a wide selection of movies, available to checkout for 7 days.
E-reading devices such as Kindle Fires are available for check-out, and 13 CAC-enabled desktop computer stations are open for internet access and use of software applications like Microsoft Office.
The Library is equipped with a b/w printer, b/w copier, scanner, and charging station for digital devices. There's a dedicated Study Area/Testing Room for those who need to work without any disturbance. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the facility, and 3D printers are available for use by anyone with base access.
