Dental Services

Welcome to the 51st Medical Group Dental Squadron. The primary mission of the 51st DS is to ensure the military dental readiness of active-duty service members. The 51st DS has the responsibility to provide care for eligible non-active duty beneficiaries and manage assets to provide appropriate and needed care for all eligible beneficiaries. To balance these missions, the 51st DS must prioritize care following Department of Defense and Air Force guidelines including: Title 10 U.S.C., Section 1074(b) and Section 1077(a) (9); AFI 41-210, TriCare Operations and Patient Administrative Function; and AFI 47-101, Managing Air Force Dental Services. Beneficiaries are provided care in the following order: Authorized beneficiaries with dental emergencies Active-Duty Military Command Sponsored of Active Duty Non-Command Sponsored of Active Duty Retirees Dependents of Retirees All Others
